This CD is a companion to the Berks County atlas; it does not include the atlas. It includes all of the maps which are included in the book Early Landowners of Pennsylvania: Township Warrantee Maps of Berks County, including the partial maps, but the images are their original size (as large as 6 feet in width). Therefore, many of these images are very large. Thus, each image may be enlarged so that the tiniest detail can be seen. In addition, the CD contains a separate set of these maps over which have been superimposed modern road map so that you can see approximately where the original tracts were located. While these maps are not to be used for commercial lpurposed, we give our permission to cut the portions of the images which directly relate to your ancestors and paste them into your family history book or software program with attribution to Ancestor Tracks.
